About Us
For more than 50 years, the Cochrans have served the area communities of North Central Oklahoma and South Central Kansas with their auction services. After graduating high school in 1963, J.E. attended auction school in Mason City, IA, and soon after, began his lifelong career as an auctioneer. Upon becoming licensed to sell real estate in the early 1970's, J.E. and Deborah expanded their auction services to include the listing and sale of Real Estate in both Kansas and Oklahoma.
In addition to the Cochran Real Estate and Auction business, the Cochran family has a farming and ranching operation in Grant County, OK, which gives the Cochran family valuable insight into the challenges and rewards of agricultural life in the region. Over the years, the Cochrans have conducted hundreds of auctions, selling everything from antiques and collectibles to machinery and land and making countless friends along the way. J.E. and Deborah have two children: son Lance, (also a career auctioneer), along with his wife, Tracy, and their 3 children - Lexi, Tori and Tru - and daughter, Jan.
